We bid farewell to Mr. Blonigen and Mrs. May on Tuesday, June 6, in a celebration with more than 250 alumni and friends of Saint Agnes School.
Mr. Fred Blonigen retired from high school Theology after 32 years of teaching. During that time, he served as the advisor of the Pro Life Club, which he founded in 1986. It is one of the largest and most active clubs of its kind. Former students have commented on his ability to teach the truths of the faith with love and charity.
Mrs. Donna May taught music at all levels in her 27 years of service to Saint Agnes. Her love of sacred music – and of teaching the Catholic faith through such music – was apparent to all who knew her. She took great pride in teaching the Catholic faith to her students through the context of choral music.
Both teachers will be greatly missed by all those in the Saint Agnes School family. We wish them every happiness and leave them with the promise of our prayers!
