The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist have officially informed Archbishop Hebda of their intent to provide teaching sisters for Saint Agnes School. The Dominicans from Ann Arbor, Michigan are a faithful, joyful and growing order of sisters founded twenty years ago by Mother Assumpta Long. Not only will they be residing in our convent, but they will be a daily example to a joyful, faith-filled life as they teach and worship here.
We are humbled by their decision to serve at Saint Agnes, as they receive many requests for their presence from all over the country. The current plan is that they will send several sisters to teach beginning in the fall of 2018.
We owe a debt of gratitude to God and we also owe a thank you to Archbishop Hebda and Bishop Cozzens, without whose efforts and guidance this could never have become a reality.
