By participating in activities, clubs, and athletics, our Lower School students become well-rounded, developing a solid foundation to succeed in their life’s vocation.

Athletics

Athletics (K-8) – Athletics and other competitive activities provide Saint Agnes students with abundant opportunity to develop the virtues necessary in life: discipline, effort, eagerness for teamwork and good sportsmanship. Self-discipline in school activities prepares students for living an upright, moral life as adults. (The Educational Philosophy of Saint Agnes School, 2016, p. 5). Student-athletes in grades 5-8 participate in the St. Paul Catholic Athletic Association. Offerings include:

Fall: Girls Volleyball (5-8)

Winter: Boys Basketball (5-8), Girls Basketball (5-8), Boys and Girls Swim Team (K-8), Mini Matmen (K-3), Youth Wrestling (3-8)

Spring: Boys Baseball (5-8), Girls Softball (5-8)

Liturgical Ministry

Saint Agnes Troops of Saint George

Saint Agnes Troops of Saint George (1-12) – We are a Catholic apostolate for Catholic men and their sons. We are Catholic first above all else. Our campouts feature the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Sacrament of Confession, and time-honored Catholic devotions. We are not interested in arts and crafts or meetings for the sake of meetings. Rather, we’re interested in meeting the challenges of being a godly and Christian man for our wives, children, grandchildren, and culture. We want our sons to become true men infused with virtue, decisiveness, and integrity.

Spring Musical

Violin Lessons

Violin Lessons (K-8) – Suzuki violin lessons are taught by experienced violinists in the renowned Suzuki method. Lessons are once per week, after school, for 30 minutes; they are one-on-one with the instructor and take place in our beautiful band and choir rooms. Each spring, instructors host the annual violin concert showcasing the mastery and skills learned in the past school year.
